Every spare moment that I have, when not forging on larger projects, I make kitchen knives
They can be large cleavers, or small cheese knives, or everyday kitchen knives for chopping veg or fruit.
I use recycled materials, such as car springs or hacksaw blades or steel files. The hardness of this metal means that the blades stay sharp for longer.
